The Hor Hieroglyph - relief fragment, Relief fragment with several preserved hieroglyphic signs. The preserved fragment features a schematic representation of a falcon the Hor sign shown in right profile, above which three ball-like signs and a triangular sign are preserved. Sections of the side frames remain. 3rd–1st century BC; Ptolemaic Period, Edfu. Inscription, bas-relief; height 17 cm, width 16 cm, depth 3 cm., A roughly triangular fragment of brownish-gray stone with a textured, weathered surface features a carved outline of a bird in profile standing on its legs; the bird carving shows a rounded head, curved beak, a defined wing area, and a long tail extending toward one corner of the fragment. The stone edges are irregular and chipped, and there are a few shallow circular depressions and incised lines near the top and along one side. The visible colors are shades of brown, gray, and a few lighter tan areas on the stone.
