Ring-shaped base with a star in the center. 2nd half of the 7th–8th century, Syro-Palestine; height 3.4 cm, width 11.0 cm, depth 8.0 cm., An irregular, roughly symmetrical object with a rounded, disk-like lower portion and a protruding, conical top sits centered against a flat, gray background; the object has a rough, textured surface in shades of beige, tan, and light brown with a few darker brown and black patches, and it casts a subtle reflection below on the glossy surface.
