Medum-type bowl, Medum-type bowl, Bowl with a hemispherical shape. The walls bend gently around about 2/3 of the height of the vessel. The rim is straight, perpendicular to the shoulders, slightly irregular. Rounded bottom. The surface of the vessel is even. Vessel colour - red. Vessel glued together from several fragments. c. 2686 - c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, Edfu, vessel, height 5.5 cm, diameter 12.6 cm rim, diameter 13.5 cm shoulders, A low, wide ceramic bowl with a rounded body and a slightly flared rim sits against a light gray background, showing a weathered surface with a few visible cracks and rough patches; the bowl is primarily reddish-brown with areas of darker brown and muted orange, and the interior appears darker than the exterior.
