Medum-type bowl, Ceramics: Egyptian pottery vessel, clay bowl with hemispherical shape. The walls bend gently around about 2/3 of the height; rim straight and perpendicular to the shoulders, slightly irregular; rounded bottom. Surface even; vessel color red. Assembled from several fragments. c. 2686–c. 2181 BC Old Kingdom, from Edfu. Vessel; height 5.5 cm, diameter 12.6 cm rim, diameter 13.5 cm shoulders., A broad, shallow clay vessel with a rounded body and a slightly flared rim sits against a plain light gray background, showing a rough, weathered surface with mottled reddish-brown and darker brown areas and some small pits and specks of lighter beige.
