Jug. Small handleless jug with biconical body, widest at mid-height; broad, almost flat shoulders; separate neck glued to shoulders, almost cylindrical and widening slightly toward a profiled, irregular spout that slopes down on one side and forms a small projecting beak spout cross-section triangular with ~1 mm central indentation on outer profile. Bottom almost flat, very slightly rounded. Made of Nile clay NB1/2 ? — Vienna System. Outer surface and inner rim/neck leveled and coated with engobe and polished; remaining inner surface leveled. Red-brown. Nearly complete small fragment of rim missing; outer surface slightly worn. Attributed to Old Kingdom, possibly 4th–6th Dynasty; provenance: Edfu. Dimensions: height 11.4 cm; rim dia. 5.5 cm; shoulder dia. 10.8 cm; bottom dia. 7.1 cm., A weathered clay vessel with a rounded body and a narrow neck sits against a plain gray background; the pot shows a rough, textured surface with small pits and flecks, and its color is predominantly reddish-brown with patches of lighter tan and occasional darker brown areas.
