Sarcophagus lid, The deceased is depicted semi-reclining, resting his left forearm on a pillow and holding a laurel wreath in his right hand. He wears a short-sleeved tunic and a cloak which, when thrown over the head, reveals the torso and left arm from shoulder to elbow; the right foot is visible beneath the cloak. The human figure has very elongated proportions, with notably long legs in disproportion to the torso. Date: 2nd half of the 2nd century BC. Origin: Etruria. Object type: sarcophagus.
