Large, wide-open, convex eyes; large, straight nose; narrow mouth with wide, slightly curled, pouting lips. Face with a strong chin alluding to classical traditions. 4th century BC, Central Italy. Votive offering. Height 27.3 cm; width 20.5 cm; depth 18.5 cm; weight 3.5 kg., A weathered sculpted head of a human with a hood-like surround, showing a neutral facial expression with closed lips and softly defined eyes and nose; the surface is textured and pitted, and the piece sits on a flat base. The visible colors are beige, tan, light brown, gray, and small darker speckles.
