Votive head, Head of a young man covered with a shawl, from under which hair emerges in the form of a fringe and falls in curls below the temples, covering the ears. Large, wide-open, convex eyes; large, straight nose; narrow mouth with wide, slightly curled, pouting lips. Face with a strong chin alluding to classical traditions. 4th century BC, Central Italy; votive offering. Height 27.3 cm, width 20.5 cm, depth 18.5 cm, weight 3.5 kg., A weathered stone head sculpture shown against a plain gray background, featuring a rounded halo-like rim around the top and sides of the head, stylized short hair carved above the forehead, almond-shaped eyes without detailed pupils, a defined nose and closed lips, and carved ears partly visible beneath the hair; the surface shows a grainy texture with small dark speckles and areas of minor chipping and erosion. The visible colors are tan, beige, light brown, dark gray speckles, and a neutral gray background.
