Udja-hera shabti, Udja-hera ca. 380–343 BC. Mummy-shaped funerary figurine shabti, Late Period, 30th Dynasty, Egypt. Height 15.5 cm, width 3.9 cm. Standing on a base with back supported by a pillar. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left; elbows and shoulders subtly marked. Holds hoes in each hand with slightly curled handles; twisted rope in right hand suspending a basket over the left shoulder. Convex tools and an engraved basket depicted. Wearing a long three-part wig combed into narrow strands with bordered ends; long slightly tapering curled beard; large ears; proportionate facial details with a slight smile. Inscription engraved in three columns separated by lines on the front of the legs. Associated motifs/attributes: wigs, hieroglyphs, hoes, beards, Book of the Dead; function as grave goods/funerary figurine.
