Bowl stand, Base for a vessel with an almost equal diameter of both rims. Both rims are irregular, with a slightly wavy line. The center of the base is empty. The narrowest part of the base is approximately 2/3 of the height of the entire vessel. Made of Nile clay NB2. The surface is leveled and covered with an engobe, then polished. Red in color. Complete, very well preserved. Set with bowl 138673. ca. 2494–ca. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, 5th–6th Dynasty, Edfu. Vessel; height 13.7 cm; diameter 10.2 cm rim; diameter 9.3 cm bottom., An upright hourglass-shaped clay object with a flared rim and base, showing a weathered surface with small chips and rough patches, in shades of reddish-brown and terracotta against a flat gray background.
