Medum-type bowl, A small Medum-type bowl with characteristic carination under the rim. Rounded bottom. Arched walls, gently breaking towards the center of the vessel around 2/3 of its height. Straight, perpendicular rim. Narrow, sloping shoulders. The diameter of the rim is significantly smaller than the diameter of the vessel's arms. Clay probably NB2. Surface leveled and covered with a layer of engobe, then polished. Vessel color: red. c. 2686–c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, Edfu. Vessel; height 4.5 cm, diameter 11 cm rim, diameter 11.6 cm arms., A rounded shallow bowl with a matte, earthy surface in shades of reddish-brown and terracotta sits against a pale gray background, showing a slightly uneven rim and a subtle raised band around its upper exterior; the interior appears darker with similar reddish-brown tones, and the outer surface has a few small pits and rough patches, along with a small area near the base that shows a fragment of a rectangular label with worn edges in muted blue and off-white.
