Vessel, Egyptian pottery ceramic clay vessel, c. 1650–c. 1550 BC Second Intermediate Period, Edfu, vessel, height 7.4 cm, rim diameter 5.5 cm, belly diameter 8.2 cm., A single terracotta vessel with a rounded, bulbous body and a flaring neck and rim floats against a plain grey background; the surface shows an earthy reddish-brown color with patches of lighter tan and ochre, a slightly rough and weathered texture with visible small pits, scratches, and subtle variations in sheen, and the rim appears flatter and slightly darker than the middle of the vessel.
