Bowl base, Base for a vessel with an almost equal diameter of both rims; both rims are irregular with a wavy line. The center of the base is empty. The narrowest part of the base is approximately 2/3 of the height of the entire vessel. Vessel made of Nile clay NB1. The surface is leveled, covered with an engobe, and then polished. Vessel color: red. Complete vessel, very well preserved. c. 2494–c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, 5th–6th Dynasty, Edfu. Vessel; top diameter 17.5 cm, bottom diameter 18 cm, height 25.6 cm, weight 1.30 kg., A single reddish-brown terracotta object with a flared circular base tapering into a narrow waist and then widening into a shallow, rounded top rim, showing a worn, slightly rough surface texture with areas of lighter discoloration and small surface imperfections, set against a plain light gray background.
