Bowl base. Base for a vessel with an almost equal diameter of both rims. Both rims are irregular, with a wavy line. The center of the base is empty. The narrowest part of the base is approximately 2/3 of the height of the entire vessel. Vessel made of Nile clay NB1. The surface is leveled and covered with an engobe, then polished. Vessel color: red. Complete vessel, very well preserved. c. 2494–c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, 5th–6th Dynasty, Edfu. Ceramic vessel. Dimensions: diameter top 17.5 cm, diameter bottom 18 cm, height 25.6 cm; weight 1.30 kg., A group of terracotta-colored clay vessels sits against a smooth gray background, including a tall goblet-like stand with a wide shallow bowl on top and a flared base showing subtle surface imperfections, and a squat conical bowl holding a round-bodied pitcher with a short neck and a slightly pinched rim; the visible colors are terracotta and shades of gray.
