Medium-sized clay jug with a biconical body, widest at about half its height; wide shoulders; wide, almost cylindrical neck widening toward the spout neck about one-third of total height. Profiled, irregular spout, slightly raised and extended on one side forming a small spout; spout nearly triangular in cross-section with a ~1 mm cylindrical bulge on the outer profile. Bottom almost flat, very slightly rounded. Made of Nile clay NB1?; neck likely made separately and attached to the shoulders. Outer surface leveled, covered with engobe and polished; inner surface leveled except for neck, which is also engobed and polished. Color reddish-brown. Well preserved; rim slightly chipped in two places and engobe worn in places on outer surface. Dated to the 6th Dynasty; origin Edfu.
