On the face side, plastic decoration with a depiction of two diagonally running spirally twisted curls of hair from the figures of bulls that decorated the walls of the Ishtar Gate in Babylon older unglazed phase. 1st half of the 6th century BC; Neo-Babylonian period. Babylon Iraq. Element of architectural decoration. Weight 810 g., A rough, vertically oriented slab of stone with an irregular, textured surface and visible pits and crevices, showing areas of pale beige, pinkish-beige, light tan, dark brown, and gray; the left edge has darker brown to black patches while the central surface has more pinkish-beige tones and the right edge appears lighter beige, all set against a plain gray background.
