The back side of the object has not been processed and smoothed. 3rd–2nd century BC. Carthage Tunisia. Stele, votive inscription. Height 14.5 cm; width 9 cm; depth 6 cm; weight 1.08 kg., A roughly triangular stone slab with an uneven, chipped edge and a peaked top, showing a textured surface in shades of beige, light tan, and pale cream with small darker brown and gray speckles; the face of the slab bears a few shallow incised marks and grooves arranged in several horizontal groupings, and the sides show irregular breaks and rougher, more eroded areas in similar beige and tan tones against a plain gray background.
