Glass, Mug glass vessel, Isings form 31. Transparent manganese iridescent glass, blown in a 4-part mold. Decoration: six rows of convex stepped elements shaped like almonds lotus buds; two concentric circles on the bottom. Outer diameter of bottom: 5 cm; weight 0.188 kg. Date: 2nd quarter of the 1st century. Findspot: Syria., A tall glass vessel with a tapered form, showing a translucent pink to purple hue that becomes darker toward the base, covered in a pattern of raised teardrop-shaped protrusions arranged in vertical rows; the surface shows areas of iridescent blue-green and darker brownish spots suggesting surface weathering, and the rim is slightly flared and uneven, all set against a plain light gray background.
