Bottom diameter: 4.25 cm; dated 1st–2nd century previously dated 2nd century BC; Syria manufacture, Gaul finding, France; vessel; weight 0.066 kg., A single cylindrical cup with a slightly flared rim standing upright on a reflective surface; the cup has a textured, weathered appearance with an iridescent sheen and a palette of muted beige, tan, brown, and subtle greenish and silvery highlights; the surface is decorated with a repeating embossed pattern of circular motifs connected by radiating petal-like shapes and horizontal banding near the top and bottom; the rim shows a rough, irregular edge and the base appears darker with some accumulation of residue.
