Oinochoe, unknown Cypriot workshop; Arsinoe Cyprus. Oinochoe on a cup-shaped foot with a spherical body transitioning into sloping arms, separated by a recess from the narrow, tapering neck terminating in a triangular rim. The band-shaped handle protrudes slightly above the rim and is connected to the arm. The vessel is covered with gray-blue, matte paint. Decoration in white and brown paint surrounds the vessel concentrically. On the foot, stripes of white paint decorate the body; a laurel sprig adorns the narrowest part of the body, with white and brown stripes above it. On the shoulders, a ray ornament extends up to the neck. On the neck at the base and under the rim, white dots, and between the rows of dots, white stripes. 332–30 BC; Hellenistic period, Cyprus. Oinochoe vessel, height 14 cm, width 9 cm., A round-bodied ceramic jug with a single curved handle and a narrow neck ending in a small spout stands against a plain background; the surface shows worn painted bands and patterns with visible chips and scratches, and the visible colors include gray, dark brown, black, and patches of beige.
