Ariballus lekythos vessel; height 28.4 cm, width 12.3 cm, weight 0.520 kg., A tall ceramic vessel with a long neck and flared rim sits against a plain gray background; the vessel is primarily black with areas of reddish-orange and pale cream decoration, showing a painted scene on its rounded body with figures in reddish-orange silhouettes detailed with cream highlights. The neck and handle are black with small worn spots revealing lighter undercolor, and a band of pale cream vertical strokes encircles the neck base. The main painted scene includes a seated robed figure on a small stool holding an open box, a standing robed figure holding a staff and reaching toward the seated figure, and a winged small figure hovering above them; decorative floral and geometric motifs in cream and reddish-orange surround the scene, and a patterned band runs near the vessel base. The vessel surface shows areas of wear and small chips, and the handle connects the rim to the shoulder of the body.
