The object is predominantly black with decorative worn gold-colored patterns and bands around the lid and body, including scroll-like motifs and small floral or dot cluster accents. The rim and base show exposed lighter areas where the black surface is chipped or rubbed, revealing a brownish or tan underlayer. The lid has a raised central knob with concentric rings, and the overall surface shows a matte to slightly worn sheen. Colors visible include black, gold, brown, tan, and gray.
