Situla handle with a depiction of Silenus, restitution provenance, Silenus mythology, bronze vessel, 1st half of the 5th century BC, Etruria, vessel, height 13.7 cm, width 4.2 cm, An elongated metallic object with a rounded top featuring a circular hole, mounted on a clear rectangular stand with two vertical supports, showing an overall dark gray and greenish patina with areas of brownish corrosion; the central section is a broad, slightly tapered strip with a textured surface and irregular edges, leading to a lower decorative section with cut-out shapes resembling curved openings and a projecting irregular element, all displaying mottled green, dark gray, brown, and lighter silvery highlights against a pale gray background.
