Hunchback puppet, Figurine hollow inside. Hunchbacked torso with a large head wearing a pointed cap set on a short neck. Elongated face with a large hooked nose and full-lipped mouth. Large bulging eyes with visible traces of white paint on the pupils. Torso wrapped in a cloak forming a thick fold around the neck and covering the right arm raised toward the chin. Left arm bent, resting at the waist. Opening at the sides under the elbows for attaching the legs. Opening at the top of the cap for attaching strings. Traces of polychrome with white paint on the torso. 1st century BC, Hellenistic period. Found at Myrmekion; origin Pantikapaion. Figurine; height 8.6 cm, width 5.5 cm, depth 4.6 cm., A small weathered terracotta figure stands against a smooth gray background, showing a rounded head with a pointed cap and a broad, simplified face with a pronounced nose and slightly open mouth; the figure’s torso is wrapped in draped folds suggesting a cloak, with one arm bent across the chest and the other resting at the waist, the surface mottled with pale beige, earthy brown, and traces of white patina, and a soft shadow falls to the left on the gray surface.
