Hunchback puppet. Figurine hollow inside. Hunchbacked torso with a large head in a pointed cap set on a short neck. Elongated face with a large hooked nose and full-lipped mouth. Large bulging eyes with traces of white paint on the pupils. Torso wrapped in a cloak forming a thick fold around the neck and covering the right arm raised toward the chin. Left arm bent, resting at the waist. Opening on the side under the elbows for attaching the legs. Opening at the top of the cap for attaching strings. Traces of polychrome with white paint on the torso. 1st century BC, Hellenistic period. Myrmekion findspot; Pantikapaion origin. Figurine. Height 8.6 cm; width 5.5 cm; depth 4.6 cm., A small, worn terracotta figurine in shades of brown and beige sits against a smooth gray background, showing a rounded base and a hooded or conical head with a faintly detailed face; the figure's shoulders are draped in a sculpted shawl or cloak and its arms rest close to the torso, with one hand slightly raised, while surface weathering and patches of lighter residue give the object a mottled, aged appearance and cast a soft shadow on the gray surface.
