Oil lamp with an image of Helios, unknown Greek workshop, Single-burner oil lamp, made from a mold. Round, flat container with smooth, flat arms; one arm has a so-called ingot. Vertical vice opposite the burner decorated with two grooves. Round, slightly concave discus bounded by three concentric grooves; center shows a bust of Helios. Next to the bust is a round olive hole made after the lamp was pressed from the mold. Short, incorporated round burner Bussière type 2b, blackened. Bottom and part of the burner are broken. Light clay may indicate original manufacture in Corinth Bernhard suggests an Eastern workshop. 1st century., A broken beige clay object with a central raised fin-like ridge is shown against a solid gray background; the surface of the clay appears rough and worn with small chips and cracks, and there are a few darker spots and smudges on the beige surface, with subtle variations of light beige and tan tones across the piece.
