Ushabti, Hieroglyphs; funerary figurine; mummy-shaped shabti, c. 1295–1186 BC, New Kingdom, 19th Dynasty, Egypt. Height 15.1 cm; width 4.2 cm. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left, holding hoes in each hand. Rectangular basket slung over both shoulders on the back. Painted tools. Wide painted usekh necklace on the chest; bracelets on the wrists. Long three-part wig, ears uncovered. Round face with large eyes, wide nose, mouth barely visible; wig and facial details painted. Painted inscription around the legs, mostly erased and illegible., A weathered vertical figurine mounted on a rectangular base, shown in profile facing left, with a carved head, torso, and legs; the surface is rough and pitted with worn paint in shades of reddish-brown, yellow, black, white, and patches of pale tan, and the figure leans against a narrow upright support of a tan color attached to the base; the head has a smoothed contour with traces of pigment, the torso shows a raised chest area and a narrow waist, the legs are straight and join into a rounded foot that rests on the base, and the overall appearance is aged with uneven texture and layered coloration.
