Figurine of a goat, unknown Near Eastern workshop. Ibex animal figurine in metals/metalwork. Goat standing on a base in the form of a hollow prism with two pairs of holes on the longer sides, likely used to mount the figurine probably on a wooden handle. A round hole in the front of the ibex's torso may have been used to attach ornaments e.g., bells. One of two similar goats. 1st half of 1000 BC. Origin: Asia Minor/Iran. Figurine. Height 3.8 cm; width 2.8 cm; depth 1 cm., A small sculptural object shaped like a stylized animal with a raised head, elongated neck, rectangular body, and tapered tail, showing a rough textured surface with patches of green and dark brown patina, a round hole through the body, an open arch between the legs, and a flat base with slight irregularities.
