Conical stamp seal with a hole drilled below the top of the cone. On the circular base is engraved a walking gazelle shown in right profile: one backward-curved, notched horn, ear, eye, and beard. The upward-curving tail ends in a tassel of three engraved lines. Above the animal's rump is a horizontally displayed crescent moon. In front of the goat's muzzle is a schematic plant or branch—a vertical line ending in three short fan-like lines. Depicts a goat/gazelle. Northern Mesopotamian, 9th–8th century BC previously dated ca. 9th–7th century BC. Material: carved seal; height 1.4 cm, width 1.65 cm., A square terracotta-colored clay tile with a circular recessed carving in the center depicting a stylized animal shape; the tile surface is matte with subtle texture and small imperfections, edges are straight but slightly worn, and the visible colors are terracotta, reddish-brown, and a pale gray background.
