Amulet depicting Ptah the Dwarf Pataikos as a naked, dwarfish man standing with legs slightly apart, hands placed on his sides. Figure on a rectangular base with a hole for hanging behind the neck. 664–332 BC; Late Period, Egypt. Amulet; height 4.3 cm, width 1.7 cm., A small statuette viewed from the back, carved in a pale bluish-green material with areas of darker green and brown discoloration; the figure has a blocky head with a squared rear extension, short arms hanging at the sides, a rounded back and buttocks, and short legs standing on a rectangular base; the surface shows speckled spots and patches of brownish weathering against the predominant bluish-green, and the background is a uniform medium gray.
