Amulet - Udjat eye with a lioness; maker, Udjat eyes; udjat eye and lioness/uraeus iconography; protective amulet used in grave equipment; ca. 945–664 BC, Third Intermediate Period 22nd–25th Dynasty, Egypt; material: amulet; height 3.6 cm, width 3.8 cm., A greenish, weathered carved object with a textured surface showing a few areas of brownish wear and small dark speckles; the top features a small sculpted animal form in the same green tone, a band with raised decorative motifs runs below it, and a curved protrusion extends to the right ending in a narrow, rounded tab that carries a subtle raised design; overall the object displays irregular edges, chipped beige sections where the underlying material shows, and a patina blending shades of green, beige, brown, and hints of gray.
