Flat spearhead with a long, sagittal blade with a high rib of circular cross-section, transitioning at the base into a tapering, lath-like spike of rectangular cross-section. 9th–6th century BC end of the 2nd–first half of the 1st millennium BC; Iron Period. Near East; Luristan. Height 18.1 cm; width 5.9 cm; depth 0.6 cm., A long, narrow metallic object with a tapered, pointed top and a pair of curved extensions near the bottom, displayed against a pale background; the object has a central raised ridge running vertically and a thin shaft projecting downward from the center; the metal surface shows a worn, pitted texture and uneven edges; visible colors include brown, bronze, golden, and darker brown tones.
