Ushabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, back supported on a flat pillar. Feet missing. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left. Hoes in both hands; in the right hand a string on which a basket is slung over the left shoulder. Slightly convex tools. On the head, a smooth, three-part wig. Round face, clearly marked large eyes, wide nose, mouth in a slight grimace. Engraved inscription in one column on the front of the legs text illegible. 404–343 BC; Late Period, 28th–30th Dynasty, Egypt. Ushabti; height 7 cm., A small carved figure shaped like a standing wrapped mummy with crossed arms and a stylized beard and wig, shown against a plain gray background; the object is predominantly turquoise blue with areas of lighter blue and pale green patina and small spots of brownish discoloration and wear.
