Ushabti, Back pillars, wigs, funerary figurines, hoes, grave goods, mummy-shaped figurines, standing on a base, the back supported by a flat pillar. Arms crossed on the chest. Hands visible from under the shroud, the right slightly above the left. In the left hand a pickaxe, in the right a hoe. In the right hand also a string, on which a basket is slung over the left shoulder. Convex tools. On the head is a smooth, three-part wig. Triangular face, clearly marked large eyes, a wide nose, mouth in a slight grimace. Not inscribed. 664–332 BC; Late Period, Egypt. Shabti; height 9.3 cm, width 2.5 cm., A narrow vertical statuette of a standing human figure shown in profile against a plain background, with a smooth elongated shape and simplified features including a defined head, shoulders, and torso; the surface appears textured and worn with areas of roughness and small pitting, and the form narrows toward the feet which rest on a small rectangular base; visible colors include muted green, pale bluish-green, light beige, and touches of brownish tones across the figure and base.
