Ushabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, standing on a base, the back supported by a flat pillar. The arms are crossed on the chest and placed at the same level, some distance apart. In each hand are hoes; in the right hand is also a string from which a basket is slung over the left shoulder. The tools are engraved. On the head is a smooth, three-part wig. The face is elongated with clearly defined eyes, a long nose, and a slight smile; a long, straight beard. Not inscribed. 525–343 BC; Late Period, 27th–30th Dynasty, Egypt. Ushabti; height 9.6 cm., An elongated rounded object resembling a small carved figure stands against a plain gray background, showing a weathered surface with mottled green and beige tones and areas of light brown; the surface appears pitted and textured with a rectangular patch of fabric attached to one side and a narrow groove running vertically, with the lower end forming a slightly wider squared base.
