Funerary altar of Lucius Terentius Tarpius and Mucia Polla with Latin inscription, unknown Roman workshop. At the top is a channel for a liquid offering. Sides decorated with representations of sacrificial vessels – a jug and a platter with the head of Medusa. End of the 1st century previously dated 2nd half of the 1st century–1st half of the 2nd century. Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Altar; sepulchral funerary architecture; Latin inscriptions. Height 90 cm, width 59 cm, depth 44 cm, weight 480 kg., A weathered stone pedestal with a rectangular block shape sits against a neutral gray background, showing rough and smooth carved surfaces in shades of gray, beige, and light brown. The top edge has a decorative carved band with scroll and leaf motifs, and the upper corner appears chipped and worn. One visible side features a raised, carved vessel with a draped cloth, rendered in the same stone color but casting subtle shadows. Another face shows a recessed rectangular panel that is smoother than the surrounding rough texture. The base has stepped moldings and a heavier plinth with rough, pitted surfaces and uneven edges, all in muted gray-beige tones.
