Funerary altar of Lucius Terentius Tarpius and Mucia Polla with Latin inscription, unknown Roman workshop; classified Gallic scenography; Medusa mythology; Latin inscriptions; sepulchral funerary architecture. At the top is a channel for a liquid offering. Sides decorated with representations of sacrificial vessels – a jug and a platter with the head of Medusa. End of the 1st century previously dated 2nd half of the 1st century–1st half of the 2nd century, Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Altar. Height 90 cm, width 59 cm, depth 44 cm, weight 480 kg., A stone rectangular monument with a weathered surface in shades of gray and beige, showing carved decorative scrollwork along the top edge and a raised framed panel on one side with an incised area. The front corner and edges appear chipped and rough, and the base is broader with layered molded profiles. One side features a small circular relief with a carved human face surrounded by stylized hair or foliage. The stone shows variations of light gray, warm beige, and faint brown discoloration, with textured tool marks and areas of erosion visible across the surfaces.
