Christian amulet with Greek inscription. Limestone amulet in the shape of an elongated hexagon with Greek text on the sides and bottom. Upper edge has a protrusion with a drilled hole for suspension. The letters on the five edges form a coherent Greek inscription with magical meaning. 2nd–3rd century, found in Miletus. Amulet; height 5.2 cm, width 2.3 cm., A vertically oriented stone object with a rough, weathered surface is centered against a plain background; the stone has an irregular rectangular shape with a rounded top section and a wider lower body, showing carved depressions and raised areas that form circular and curved shapes on its face; the surface texture appears pitted and grainy with shadows in the carved areas and smoother worn patches on the edges; visible colors include shades of gray and muted black tones across the stone and a pale gray background.
