Ushabti of Amenmose, Mummy-shaped funerary figurine shabti, c. 1069–c. 656 BC, Third Intermediate Period, Egypt. Height 16.4 cm, width 5.3 cm. Arms crossed on the chest, right arm folded over left; holds hoes in both hands; a basket on the back. Smooth tripartite wig with headband, ears uncovered; large eyes; mouth and nose not distinct. Tools, facial details, and headband painted with dark paint. Painted inscription in a framed column: Osiris the prophet of Amun Amenmose, justified by the voice., A small standing statuette shown in profile against a plain gray background, with a weathered surface that is predominantly turquoise and blue with areas of greenish patina and darker gray to black patches, showing a rounded head, a simplified facial profile, a wrapped or draped body with an arm held across the front, and a broad base or foot at the bottom; the surface is pitted and mottled with lighter and darker spots and streaks.
