Shabti legs, mummy-shaped funerary figurine fragment: only the legs preserved from the knees down. The feet rest on a base with a flat pillar at the back. Inscribed text, preserved in fragments, placed in a column on the front of the legs and on the pillar. Late Period, Egypt, 664–332 BC. Shabti, height 4.2 cm., A small weathered object with a rough, uneven surface is shown against a plain gray background; the object is predominantly green with areas of brown and darker green patina, and it has a rectangular base that appears more brown and dusty with some lighter worn edges; the upper portion rises irregularly and shows vertical grooves and shallow impressed marks, with mottled patches of darker and lighter green and hints of tan; the edges are chipped and rough, and the overall appearance suggests aged metal or mineral with textured, corroded surfaces.
