Shabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, funerary gift, made carelessly, impressed in a mold. Hands folded on the chest, right over left, both hands hold hoes. Wears a three-part smooth wig. Facial details poorly legible. No inscription. Back unfinished. c. 1069–656 BC; Third Intermediate Period, Egypt. Shabti, height 7.5 cm., An elongated, irregular object with a rough, porous surface in shades of beige, tan, and light brown is shown against a solid gray background; a small rectangular patch of woven fabric in a muted beige tone is attached near the midsection, and a rectangular paper label with a blue border and off-white interior is affixed near the upper portion, along with traces of reddish-brown markings on the lower area.
