Shabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, standing on a base, back supported by a pillar/pilaster. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over the left. A pickaxe in the left hand, a hoe in the right. On the back is a basket slung by a single string over the left shoulder. Wearing a three-part smooth wig. Beard long, smooth, and straight. Face with well-proportioned features and a slight smile. Painted inscription on the front of the legs in a single wide column framed with lines; text illegible. 664–332 BC, Late Period, Egypt. Height 11.1 cm., A weathered beige statue of a standing human figure shown in profile against a solid gray background, with worn surfaces, pitted texture, a rounded head, indistinct facial features, a long narrow body and arms close to the sides, and a rectangular base; visible colors include beige, off-white, light brown, and gray.
