Shabti, mummy-shaped figurine, standing on a base; head missing. Narrow, slightly convex pillar at the back. Arms crossed high on the chest, right folded over left. Left hand holds a pickaxe, right a mattock, with a twisted rope passed over the left shoulder; a vertically hanging bag attached to the rope on the back. Convex tools; handles of both tools slightly curled at the ends. Smooth tripartite wig and short straight beard. Not inscribed. 664–332 BC, Late Period, Egypt. Height 11 cm., A single elongated object with a tapered cylindrical shape is shown against a plain gray background; the object has a weathered, rough surface in shades of turquoise and light blue with areas of pale beige where material is chipped away, a wider rounded top that shows shallow grooves and indented marks, a narrower midsection, and a slightly flared base that appears chipped and uneven with a small fragment protruding from beneath.
