Ushabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, funerary offering, standing on a base with a narrow, slightly convex pillar at the back. Arms crossed high on the chest, right folded over left. Left hand holds a pickaxe, right a mattock; a twisted rope passes over the left shoulder with a bag on the back end. Smooth, three-part wig, long straight beard; facial details poorly legible. Not inscribed. Ptolemaic Period, 332–30 BC, Egypt. Height 12.1 cm., A narrow vertical statuette of a standing human figure shown in profile against a plain gray background, with a smooth elongated form and a rounded head wearing a close-fitting headdress; the figure’s arms are folded across the chest and the legs are together, ending in a flat, slightly rounded foot on a short base. The surface shows a worn, weathered texture with small pits and abrasions and visible joins where sections meet. The dominant color of the object is a turquoise-blue with areas of lighter blue-green and some pale beige or tan patches along the joints and worn spots.
