Shabti head, mummy-shaped figurine, funerary gift. Head of a shabti figurine depicting a king: oval face with full cheeks; prominent eyebrow arch; eye and nose shapes difficult to distinguish; corners of the mouth slightly upturned. Nemes placed low on the forehead, edges slightly outlined; end of the rear pillar visible at back of head. Ptolemaic Period, 332–30 BC, Egypt. Shabti; height 3 cm, width 2.3 cm., A small sculpted head fragment with a glossy turquoise-blue surface and rough beige areas where material is missing, showing the contours of a forehead, eye sockets, a nose area with chipped sections, and a partial mouth, with a flat beige strip across the top and uneven beige edges along the sides and bottom against a plain gray background.
