Shabti legs, mummy-shaped figurine fragment: fragment of the legs of a mummy-shaped shabti figurine preserved from the knees down. The feet rest on a base, the back of the figurine is supported by a pilaster. In front of the legs is a column of hieroglyphic inscription enclosed in a frame. Painted inscription. Late Period, Egypt, 664–332 BC. Shabti. Height 4.3 cm, width 2 cm., A fragment of an object with a glossy blue surface showing variations of bright blue and turquoise, with areas where the blue glaze is chipped revealing a beige, sandy inner material; the fragment has a vertical, slightly curved face rising from a flat, rectangular base, and the edges show irregular breaks and small rough spots against a plain gray background.
