Shabti, mummy-shaped figurine supported at the back on a pillar. Legs missing from the knees down. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left. In the right hand is a hoe, in the left an axe. On the back is a bag slung on a string over the left shoulder. Convex tools. On the head is a long, smooth, three-part wig. Long, straight beard braided. Facial details poorly visible. Not inscribed. 664–332 BC; Late Period, Egypt. Height 6.6 cm., A small turquoise-blue carved figure with a smooth, rounded head and simplified body shape, showing a raised arm along one side and a slight suggestion of facial contour, with a few darker speckles and areas of lighter blue and green patina, a small patch of beige material attached near the lower side, and a neutral gray background.
