Outer rim diameter 5.50 cm; bottom diameter 3.90 cm. 4th century, Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Vessel, weight 0.076 kg., A small translucent glass vessel sits on a light surface against a pale background, the glass showing a greenish tint with areas of yellow-green on the applied rim and decorative drips; the body is rounded and clear enough to reveal internal bubbles and small inclusions, and the decorative strands hang from the rim in looping curves with thicker teardrop ends, all rendered in shades of green, yellow-green, pale gray, and subtle iridescent hints.
