Transparent yellowish-green glass with applied thread decoration between the arms and the rim edge in the form of 10 sharp bends; free-blown. Outer diameter of the rim: 5.50 cm. Bottom diameter: 3.90 cm. 4th century, Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Vessel, weight 0.076 kg., A small rounded glass vessel with a bulbous body and a narrow neck topped by a flared rim, made of translucent pale green glass with a few darker green accents; a decorative applied wavy band encircles the neck and drips down in several pendant teardrop-like shapes, the applied glass showing slightly deeper green tones; the body contains a few trapped air bubbles and small surface irregularities and shows subtle iridescent sheen and areas of mild cloudiness; the background is a smooth neutral gray gradient.
