Red-figure hydria, Southern Italy Apulia. Hydria vessel, 330–320 BC. Black glossy engobe with some elements painted white. On a high, profiled foot with slightly sloping shoulders; narrow neck widening toward a wide, flat, outward-rolled rim decorated with vertical-line ornamentation. Three handles: two vertical below the shoulders and one horizontal from rim to shoulders. Palmettes beside the handles. Frontal belly scene: a seated woman on a rock wearing a long chiton; in her right hand two flowers, in her left a kalathos and a wreath. A plate lies behind her on the ground and a rolled-up cloth hangs in front of her., A painted ceramic vessel with a rounded body, narrow neck, flared rim, and a single curved handle, displayed against a neutral gray background; the surface shows decorative painted motifs including sweeping spirals, stylized leaf and floral patterns, and banded designs in contrasting colors. The vessel's color palette includes terracotta orange, black, and lighter beige or tan accents, with areas of wear and small chips revealing texture variations. The handle and neck are predominantly black and orange, and the body features black-painted backgrounds with orange and beige ornamental elements and a darker base and foot with some patina.
